Revival is Normal

The unusual activity of the Spirit of God must become normal.

We have toned down the activity of the Holy Spirit out of respect of those less hungry, less interested and focused on creating their own customized spiritual experience.

This must stop.

It's time for "troublers of Israel" to arise and shock the sleeping church out of its stupor.

  • Healing is normal.
  • Deliverance is normal.
  • Groans of intercession are normal.
  • Dreams and visions are normal.
  • The manifest presence of God is normal.
  • Prophecy is normal.
  • Revival is normal.

WHAT IS REVIVAL?

Simply, revival is biblical normalcy. If we are experiencing what we saw in the early, New Testament church, we are in revival.
Revival is corporate and it's specific to the local gathering and, ultimately to the city, and prayerfully, to the nation. We don't simply "walk in revival" as individuals without living in revival as a community.

I believe the outpouring in these end-times will be among the very greatest in history. We can expect a greater measure of the activity of the Spirit of God.

Revival is for the church, not the lost. Of course, ultimately, as we become revived, it's contagious. It's explosive. It spreads. So a RESULT of revival is a mighty harvest and an influx of converts.

It's critical that revival precedes such an moment so the masses aren't introduced into a culture devoid of the wonders of a supernatural, biblical life.

Many would say we are in revival now. If that's the case, it's pretty disappointing. Thankfully, it's not true and we can (must) contend for a greater outpouring that will absolutely overtake the remnant church.

When revival breaks out, at a minimum we will experience such a weighty manifestation of the Spirit of God in our gatherings that we can barely function. The Kabod of God will swirl within and the Shekinah will stun even the greatest skeptic.

Signs, wonders, miracles, healings, dreams, visions, visitations, trances, prophecy and other supernatural occurrences will be constant.
Deliverance, freedom, powerful anointing and otherworldly invasions into the atmosphere will be normal.

Prayer will be intense, tongues of intercession will flow, decrees and declarations will fill the room and the wind and fire of the Upper Room will overtake us.

Revival, like the Upper Room, is very much targeted within the four walls of the church–to start. After the fire begins to rage, we'll be stumbling around as drunk into a curious and resistant world. Many will marvel, many will mock. The religious will do all they can to kill the move of God, and some will try to kill you and me.

We must focus on the altar. Fervent prayer must shake the foundations of our churches. Repentance must blast our of a desperate people. The remnant can no longer take a casual approach.

No, revival is not here. It may not be near. But it is our mandate. Cancel everything and do all that is necessary to initiate a sudden, supernatural, invasive, uncomfortable, inconvenient outpouring of the Spirit of God.

When revival comes, we'll know it. Everyone in the city will know it.
